New Hope for Patients. . . New Hope for a Cure
With centers located in Madrid, Spain and San Antonio, Texas, START conducts the world’s largest Phase I medical oncology program. Today, more than 50 percent of cancer patients can be cured with conventional treatments – that is, therapies with a proven response rate. However, there are many patients who do not respond to standard treatment and may be eligible for participation in our Phase I clinical trials program.
START Madrid encompasses a superior team of supporting staff with extensive experience in oncology drug development and patient care.
Each department is held to the upmost of standards to ensure integrity and quality with a complete focus on our patients. Together these departments work toward fulfilling START Madrid’s mission to accelerate the development of new anticancer drugs that will improve the quality of life and survival for patients with cancer.
